Week 4 – Artists OTW – Tom Sachs & Johanna Fateman

 Both Sachs and Fateman are artists making zines, but their concepts and art styles for their zines are very different. Sachs's zines show his interests, worksheets, and DIY projects that the reader or he does. His zines seem like they are fit for people who like to try new projects and exploring their interests. The zines that I looked at were Moon Rock Report and 10 Bullets. 10 Bullets is a zine that I think tells you how to make your life easier. From the pictures that I see, none of the instructions are particularly hard, if anything these things are obvious to know, but they're things that many people procrastinate on, such as cleaning the house and washing the dishes. Moon Rock Report explores his interest in the moon and shows pictures of moon rocks and documents detailing each rock. From what I've seen, Fateman mostly did zines as a diary. Week 8 - Artist – Addario-Cardiff-Miller

    When I look up Addario works online, her most prominent or known works seems to be photographs of war. She photographs war from both sides as a soldier and as a citizen of the country it's happening in. But it seems like she doesn't only just show the brutal aspects of war, she also shows what civilian life is like during the war and after the war. Her work humanizes the other side and it makes you think about how when we hear about war and other countries, we don't think about the civilians on the other side and how they're fairing.      Cardiff and Miller make multisensory exhibitions that people can walk through. In these exhibitions, visitors experience an exhibition that is described as unsettling. From what I've seen, the exhibitions make it seem like you're entering an empty room with dark lighting. Week 1 - Artist - Spill Sesh & Lovelyti TV

 Spill Sesh and Lovelyti TV are both drama channels that talk about other creaters or celebrities who are  in the middle of drama or cancellations. They both discuss the backgrounds of these celebrities, then their drama, and how normal people are perceiving their drama. I suppose their goal would be to inform people of their favorite celebrities' wrongdoings, but I think money is a bigger motivator because of how popular drama channels are and how much negative attention attracts people. The difference between these two channels would be who they report on and their anonymity. Spill Sesh keeps their name and face anonymous while Lovelyti TV is out in the open. Spill Sesh mainly covers other Youtubers with the occasional celebrity while Lovelyti TV covers reality TV stars. I watch them in my free time or when I need background noise.
